It has been a full four years since I started photographing nature on the Chita Peninsula, beginning with my first visit to a wooded area in Minami Chita Town in August 2019. I have photographed wooded areas, rice paddies, reservoirs and beaches, as well as the lives I encountered there. Throughout the year, I have gone around the Chita Peninsula, keeping my eyes on the changes in nature.
Nature brings disasters. It sometimes has a very big impact on people's lives, but it is just one of many complex and diverse faces. People and nature are not in conflict, but in symbiosis. People live surrounded by nature. If that is the case, why don't we not be afraid, but first of all, why don't we look at the nature that is close to us, but which we may have overlooked, with a sense of familiarity and together?
I would be very happy, through this photo exhibition, you could make fresh awareness about the nature around you.
